Established in 1830 by John Rich, Woolrich today is the worlds oldest Sports- and Casualwear producer. The history of Woolrich constitutes an extraordinary contemporary anomaly, one that works against the current rules of globalization: the ability to foster ongoing relation- and partnerships within the global Woolrich community, showing a rare charm and long-standing success. 

The Woolrich product is essentially rooted in the needs of pioneers, from lumberjacks to farmers who came face to face with the raw edge of extreme climatic conditions, to the workers who took part in the construction of the great Alaskan Pipeline in the early 1970s. The world famous and iconic Original Arctic Parka was first introduced in 1972 and with the passing of years the Arctic Parka became increasingly popular throughout the world.
